Ridgetop Europe nv appoints Peritest as its representative for southern Europe.
PERITEST, a French company that is the source of manufacturing equipment and consumable products for the semiconductor industry, has become a representative for Ridgetop Europes Q-Star TestTM product family, covering France, Italy, Switzerland (French speaking part), Spain and Portugal.
The agreement extends sales and technology support for the Q-Star Test technology and related solutions throughout the region mentioned.

Ridgetop Europe will be present again at ITC. You will find us in Booth 201 - next to the entrance. We will be there together with our partner Ridgetop Group Inc. We will show you the innovative Q-Star Test products supporting multi-site Iddx test application and we will be featuring some of the industrys most innovative products for IC test and reliability, and process qualification and characterization. The 2012 IDDx/ISSx Survey Report is available.
The contributions to the annual IDDx/ISSx survey have been processed and compiled in a comprehensive survey report. The contributions of the many survey participants are greatly appreciated.
The Survey results show once more that IDDQ is an important test method, has a broad application field and is here to stay. Application methods are adapted in response to technology requirements and are meanwhile opening up new application opportunities. Although some prophets at the end of the nineties predicted that the sunset for IDDQ was soon to come, now more than 12 years later IDDQ has still a widespread use with a growing application interest as a solution to meet todays cost, quality and battery lifetime requirement.

The IEEE VLSI Test Symposium (VTS) explores emerging trends and novel concepts in testing, and verification / validation of microelectronic circuits and systems. The 2012 IDDx/ISSx Survey Seeks Your Contribution.
The annual IDDx/ISSx survey is launched again and the 2012 edition seeks your contribution.
Your input and comments are greatly appreciated and even if you are "not into IDDx or ISSx" your input is valuable and very welcome.

Ridgetop Europe at ISQED 2012
The International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED 2012) took place from 18 till 21 March 2012. As part of the ISQED 2012 technical program a comprehensive Embedded Tutorial on Semiconductor Failure Modes and Mitigation for Critical Systems was given by Ridgetop Europes CEO Dr Hans Manhaeve. This well received tutorial addressed semiconductor failure modes and reliability concerns and solutions to address these concerns and to assure reliably operating systems.

Jointly we, Q-Star Test and our partner Ridgetop Group Inc., presented a tutorial on IC Yield, Reliability and Prognostic Methods using Nanoscale test Structures at the Design, Automation and Test in Europe (DATE 2010) conference. This tutorial (DATE Tutorial E1) is part of the annual IEEE Computer Society TTTC Test Technology Educational Program (TTEP) and took take place on Monday, March 8, 2010.
